Chuck E. Ledbetter, Sr. posted a condolence
Saturday, August 10, 2019Barbara and Rhodes family, My sincerest condolences to you and family. May loving prayers attend you...May tears bring sweet release...May God, who sees your sorrow, guide you to a path of peace. I know you and the family must have many, many fond memories of "Katt" especially while he was an outstanding part of one of the Pirates' historic wins; the first-ever pirates to win the Jeffersonville Sectional coached by Dale McNeely in 1962!. I, especially remember when we celebrated their 50th Anniversary in the new sports arena and he was honored along with Paul Blevins, Dr. Ken Blick, Tom Ledbetter, Ron Matthews, George True, and 1962 Pirates Cheerleader Pace and how excited he was to see and cherish those moments with his former colleagues on the hardwood. It was a memorable occasion. I know how proud he was to be a part of that historic basketball team, and we were proud of him, too! Again, my condolences to you and family...praying God's comfort and peace for your family, Chuck E. Ledbetter, sr.
