Sunday, March 31, 2019I was so saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. We grew up with the Hawkins family as neighbors and friends, and though the years have passed, the whole family still holds a special place in my heart with lots of memories that bring back smiles. Gerry was friends with my brothers and much older than me, but even so, he was always friendly and kind and had the most beautiful smile! May God embrace the entire family with His arms of love, and provide peace and healing for the days ahead. RIP, Gerry!

Saturday, March 30, 2019I would like to express my condolences for your loss. There will come a time when death and mourning will be no more. (Revelation 21:3,4) This is what our loving God, Jehovah, has promised. We also have the hope of seeing our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) May those verses bring you some comfort in your time of mourning.

Friday, March 29, 2019My heart dropped when I walked up to the time clock and saw the posting of your passing. We passed each other almost every morning at work with the same greeting from me it was Hi Gerry and you would reply Hi Jerry. You also took my dads shotgun, from 1952, that was literally in pieces and made it look brand new. I can never thank you enough for your friendship and will miss and think of you every day. My life was better with you as a friend. I will miss you Gerry. Prayers to your family. The world lost a great man and friend and heaven gained a true special soul..

Thursday, March 28, 2019Much love to the most wonderful friend I've ever had. His character as a man is one that many can learn from. Life will not be the same with Gerry gone, but as he said as we parted ways Tuesday night, love ya like a brother and see ya on the flip side my friend!
